In
order for you to get the most from your
oceanfree.net e-mail accounts we recommend
you use the following guidelines.
|
|
Spring cleaning...like any tool it operates best when not
clogged up with unnecessary clutter, to avoid this
keep your mailbox tidy in the following way.
|
| |
-
Do
not store attachments in your mailbox.
Your mailbox is over 5 megabytes in size, that is big
enough to store over a thousand e-mails! However, if you
are sending and receiving large attachments, they very
quickly add up. If you receive an attachment, a picture
or an executable file, for example, and you want to keep
it, save it to your hard drive, C on your PC. Once it
is stored there you can delete it from your mailbox.
-
Delete sent mails, sent e-mails are stored in a file in
your mailbox, unless you need them you should delete them
or archive them.
-
Empty
the trash, like on your PC, the trash fills up, you should
take it out once a week
-
Clear
old addresses, if someone changes e-mail address you do
not need to keep the old one, delete old addresses, they
are confusing to you and take up space
-
Archive,
are you keeping e-mails your mailbox that you would better
be stored on your PC? Check through your folders and copy
any non-urgent e-mails into a folder on your PC.
